Brown Advisory offers a range of proprietary U.S. investment strategies to non-U.S. institutional and individual investors. Today, we manage about $1 billion in non-U.S. assets through a UCITS III fund vehicle and numerous separate accounts.
Brown Advisory has been doing business in the U.K. and continental Europe for many years. Alex. Brown & Sons first opened an office in London in 1985, and Brown Advisory took on its first non-U.S. institutional client in 1999. In 2006, Brown Advisory set up a Dublin UCITS III umbrella to give non-U.S. investors better access to its U.S. equity strategies. In March 2008, the firm opened an office in London and registered with the FSA.
