Brown Advisory offers a range of proprietary U.S. investment strategies to non-U.S. institutional and individual investors. Today, we manage about $1.8 billion in non-U.S. assets through a UCITS III fund vehicle and numerous separate accounts.
Brown Advisory has been doing business in the U.K. and continental Europe for many years. Alex. Brown & Sons first opened an office in London in 1985, and Brown Advisory took on its first non-U.S. institutional client in 1999. In 2006, Brown Advisory set up a Dublin UCITS III umbrella to give non-U.S. investors better access to its U.S. equity strategies. In March 2008, the firm opened an office in London and registered with the FSA.
The UCITS III Funds are registered for sale in several European jurisdictions including the U.K., Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Sweden and Finland.
