Martin R. West, III is a Financial Advisor with Brown Advisory Securities, LLC and works with individual clients in determining their investment objectives, assessing their risk tolerance and identifying suitable investments.  He is new to Brown Advisory Securities having joined the firm in August 2008 after working for 13 years at UBS Financial Services.  Previously to UBS, Mr. West was a Senior Officer at two real estate firms, Ridge Development Corp. and Weaver Bros., Inc.  Mr. West has served on the boards of two area savings and loans as well as the Mortgage Bankers Association of Washington.  In community affairs he is actively involved in his church, Fourth Presbyterian Church, and the Columbia Country Club.
