Mr. Whelihan is a Partner and Financial Advisor with Brown Advisory and is located in the firm's Washington, DC office. He has over thirty two years of experience working with individuals and institutional investors, having started with Alex Brown & Sons in 1976. Mr. Whelihan concentrates his effort on providing comprehensive solutions for families. He consults and supports a broad range of clients who manage their own investments, or may also use Brown Advisory portfolio managers, strategic advisors, and private equity advisors to expand their investment opportunities. Mr. Whelihan was a commercial banker in New York before he came to Washington in 1969 to work in the White House during the administration of Richard Nixon.
