William L. Paternotte, CFA, is a Senior Client Advisor and Partner of Brown Advisory, and a member of its Investment Committee.  Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Paternotte spent 30 years at Alex. Brown & Sons and its successor firm, BT Alex. Brown, primarily in equity research, having served as Director of Research from 1979 through 1992.  He was also Chairman of its Investment Committee.   He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and past President of the Baltimore Security Analysts Society.
