Stanard T. Klinefelter is a Partner of Brown Advisory and a member of the strategic advisory team that counsels clients of the firm on estate planning, wealth transfer, and a number of wealth management-related issues. Until coming to Brown Advisory in June of 2002, Mr. Klinefelter chaired the Private Client Services Practice Group at Piper Rudnick LLP. In his 27 years at Piper, he built one of the largest and most highly regarded trust and estate practices in the region. In counseling wealthy clients, Mr. Klinefelter was called upon to provide advice with regard to investment assets, including asset allocation, risk tolerance and the selection of investment advisors. Mr. Klinefelter has been active in the Maryland and American Bar Associations for many years and is a fellow and past Regent of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
