Doug Hinton oversees the Institutional Fixed Income Sales effort for Brown Advisory.  He works with P&C, Life, and Captive insurance companies, foundations, endowments, corporations and public authorities among many other institutional clients.  Prior to joining Brown Advisory, he served as Director of Marketing for Cavanaugh Capital Management (CCM).  Before CCM, he served as Senior Vice President of Taxable Fixed Income at Ferris Baker Watts.  Mr. Hinton also held several senior sales and trading positions at Prudential Securities, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Legg Mason, First National Bank of Maryland, Dillon Reed and Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc.  Mr. Hinton has been in the investment business since 1979 and holds a Series 7, Series 63 and a Series 65 License.
