Trust services play an important role in many client relationships. Brown Advisory was originally organized and chartered as a Maryland Trust Company in order to assist clients with trust issues and to be able to serve as trustee where necessary or advisable. Our strategic advisory and administrative professionals have extensive experience with trusts and related instruments. Approximately one-third of our assets under management are held in trust, both corporate and individual. With full knowledge of trust issues, we are well prepared to act as trustee ourselves or as an agent for other trustees, providing all the ancillary administrative services.
