Rob Furlong, CFA

Rob is an equity research analyst at Brown Advisory. He is responsible for covering business services. Prior to joining the firm, Rob was a portfolio manager at Carson Group, where he managed a handful of equity portfolios including a concentrated global strategy that he created.

Katherine Lee

Katherine is a municipal credit analyst at Brown Advisory. She is responsible for analyzing and monitoring tax-exempt municipal holdings for credit quality. Katherine previously worked as a public finance investment banking associate at Raymond James. Prior to that she was an analyst at Public Financial Management, a financial advisor to municipal issuers. She earned her BS at Duke University with a major in economics and minors in statistics and psychology.

Lauren Cahalan

Lauren is an equity research analyst at Brown Advisory. She focuses on utilizing fieldwork and network driven research to provide in-depth analysis on existing and potential portfolio companies. Lauren interned as a summer analyst at the firm in 2017. She earned concurrent degrees at Towson University with a BS in Economics and an BS Political Science in 2018.

Cameron Mathis

Cam is an equity research analyst focusing on the financial sector. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2018, he was an associate for the financial institutions mergers and acquisition advisory group and an equity research associate for the financial institutions group with Evercore.

Sanjeev Joshi, CFA

Sanjeev is an equity research analyst covering the healthcare sector. Prior to joining the firm, Sanjeev worked as an Investment Analyst at UBS Asset Management, covering Healthcare and Industrial sectors in their US and Asia Emerging Market teams. He earned his MBA at University of Chicago with a major in Finance in 2003.

Henry Francklin

Henry is part of the institutional sales and business development team for Brown Advisory’s international business. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in March 2017, Henry worked at William Blair in the U.S. Institutional Equity Sales team servicing clients in Scandinavia, France, Ireland and the UK. Henry currently holds the Chartered Institute of Securities Investment Qualification and Series 7, FINRA Qualification. He achieved his MSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University in 2012 and his BA (Hons) from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2011. 

Sean McTernan

Sean is a member of the US Institutional Sales team focused on building relationships with RIAs, Private Banks, Family Offices and large Broker Dealer Consultants with a focus on the Northeast and West Coast. Prior to joining the firm, Sean was the Director of Business Development at Penn Mutual Asset Management where he was responsible for prospecting and developing new relationships with family offices, insurance company general accounts and institutional consultants, while overseeing and managing new and existing client relationships.

Roddy Seymour-Wiliams

Roddy joined Brown Advisory in January 2018 as an Associate Research Analyst for the Global Leaders Equity Strategy in our London office. Prior to this he graduated from The University of Bristol in 2017 with a degree in Economics and Management, BSc.

Jamie Wyatt

Jamie is an equity research analyst at Brown Advisory who focuses on the industrials and materials sectors. Jamie earned his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University with majors in Neuroscience and International Studies, before joining the firm in July of 2018.

Michael Santangelo

Michael is a member of Brown Advisory's U.S. Institutional Sales and Client Service team. His primary responsibilities include consultant relations and distribution with Registered Investment Advisors, Bank Trusts and Financial Intermediaries based in the Southeast United States. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2018, Michael held multiple positions with Invesco where he most recently managed the sales efforts of the Internal Retirement Desk which was primarily focused on working with clients focused on the defined contribution and defined benefit space.
