Michael Heap is a partner and associate portfolio manager at Brown Advisory. He is an experienced institutional investor, with over 10 years of experience. He joined Brown Advisory in December 2025 from Orbis Investment Management, where he was an investment analyst. Mike spent his first decade at Orbis as a European generalist, before moving on to a Global remit.
He began his investing career in 2013 after graduating with an MPhil in Finance and a first-class MA in Natural Sciences, both from the University of Cambridge.
