Nik Chukanov

Nik Chukanov is a fixed income research analyst and member of the fixed income investment team at Brown Advisory, focused on the consumer sector. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2025, Nik held the role of Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst at Nomura Asset Management UK, covering investment grade and high-yield consumer staples, healthcare & transportation companies in the Global Fixed Income team.

Nik began his career in 2014 as a Finance analyst at M&G Investments before moving to the Corporate Credit Research team in 2018 with a focus on the consumer & pharmaceutical sectors. He holds a BSc in Management with Accounting & Finance from The University of Manchester and is a CFA charterholder.
