Peter Whitney, CAIA, CFA

Peter is a partner and serves as a portfolio manager and head of private investment research. He is responsible for oversight of private fund investments across buyout, venture capital, growth equity, credit, real estate and real assets. Peter also works with a number of individuals and institutions on portfolios that contain significant allocations to alternative investments. Peter sits on Brown Advisory's International Investment Committee which is responsible for overseeing the multi-strategy international investment offering for clients. Previously, Peter was head of research for the Investment Solutions Group, where he was responsible for external manager research and managed several of the firm's commingled hedge fund strategies. He holds a BA from Tufts University.
