Garritt is a principal and portfolio manager on the fixed income team where he is responsible for the management, research, and trading of structured credit and securitized products.
Before joining the firm, Garritt was a vice president and senior analyst/portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors, where he specialized in asset backed securities and collateralized loan obligations. Prior to that, Garritt held multiple roles at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, most recently as a research analyst covering CLOs. Garritt began his career at Hartford Investment Management Company as a securitized research analyst and has been a member of the investment community since 2007.
Garritt received his bachelor’s degree in finance and mathematics with a minor in economics, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.
