Riley Finch

Riley is an Investor at NGVP (NextGen Venture Partners), based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is responsible for sourcing new investments to the firm, and leveraging NextGen's Venture Partners network to drive value throughout the investment process including sourcing, diligence, and portfolio support. Prior to NGVP, he was an Investor at 1Sharpe Ventures, and also spent two years supporting founders leading Operations and Platform at Afore Capital. Before working in venture, Riley held Go-To-Market roles at FinTech companies like Clearco and Wealthsimple in Toronto, Canada.

Maxim Karoubi

Maxim Karoubi is an associate at Brown Advisory. He is responsible for sourcing and analyzing potential deals for NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to joining the firm, Maxim worked as a Consultant in Deloitte's M&A practice.

Carlie Mangine

Carlie is an executive assistant at Brown Advisory. Prior to joining the firm, Carlie worked at an investment firm in the greater Boston area where she worked as the Administrative Coordinator for the firm.

Lauren Keigler

Lauren is a human resources business partner at Brown Advisory in the Baltimore office. She is responsible for developing and executing human capital strategy for the Institutional organization. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley, where she most recently served as senior human resources business partner.

Malcolm Stewart

Malcolm Stewart is an associate portfolio manager at Brown Advisory, responsible for working with the portfolio management team on behalf of individuals, families, and foundations. Prior to joining the firm, Malcolm worked at Makena Capital Management, LLC as a Product Manager where he worked on client strategy and business development. 

Julia Fisher

Julia Fisher is an executive assistant at Brown Advisory. She is responsible for assisting the business development team out of the Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the firm, Julia worked as an Administrative Associate at the Menil Collection in Houston, TX.

Kym Coder-Joyce

Kym is an executive assistant at Brown Advisory. She joined Brown Advisory in November 2024. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Group Administrator at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.

Julie Mackin, CTFA

Julie is a private client relationship advisor at Brown Advisory. She is responsible for managing client relationships and helps ensure that clients receive ongoing support and communication. Prior to joining the firm, Julie worked at the Sustainability Group at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge as a trust assistant.
