Marc is a partner and serves as managing counsel for the firm. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2024, Marc worked in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission, most recently as Assistant Director and Senior Counsel to the Director of Enforcement. Marc was previously a Senior Counsel on the Enforcement Division's investigative staff and a member of the Cyber and Market Abuse Units. Marc began his legal career as an Associate in the Litigation Department at WilmerHale.

Nicholas is a partner and serves as a portfolio manager in the Washington, D.C office. With more than 30 years of experience in research and portfolio management, he works with individuals, families, endowments, and foundations to achieve their long-term investment objectives. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Nicholas was a principal and portfolio manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., where he led a team managing the firm's flagship U.S. Large Cap Equity Fund and Dividend Growth strategy.
