Craig Standish is a partner and serves as head of Brown Advisory's Boston office and co-head of Strategic Advisory. He works closely with individuals and families to help them navigate the opportunities and complexities that come with significant wealth.


Craig serves as both a strategic advisor and thought partner, helping families make thoughtful decisions across generations. His work spans sophisticated estate, tax, and philanthropic planning, as well as governance, family education, succession planning, and the interpersonal dynamics that often accompany wealth. Whether helping a family prepare the next generation, navigate a major liquidity event, or manage periods of transition, Craig focuses on creating practical frameworks that bring clarity and alignment.


Before joining Brown Advisory, Craig was an estate planning attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, where he advised clients on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
