Collegiate Internship Programs We are excited about your interest in Brown Advisory. A standing goal of our firm is to develop meaningful opportunities for the next generation. Our analyst programs are designed to be entrepreneurial, project-based programs, where analysts have the opportunity to gain exposure to our firm culture and business lines. Analyst positions are available in select office locations and many of our programs aim to cultivate students who could succeed at Brown Advisory after graduation. Internship Requirements: You have a balanced resume with a demonstrated record of achievement, such as extracurricular activities or leadership roles. You have an entrepreneurial mindset as well as the ability to proactively identify, execute, and manage projects of interest. You have excellent communication and presentation skills with an exceptional attention to detail. You are analytical, adaptive, a leader, strong team player, as well as a multi-tasker. You have a genuine interest in finance, investing, and macro-level economics. You are legally authorized to work in the United States. Investment Management Summer Analyst Program The Investment Management Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship designed to expose students to the investment side of our business such as: Equity and fixed income research Hedge fund research Private client investment management Asset allocation and manager due diligence Private equity and real estate investing Institutional sales and service The program typically starts mid-June and runs through mid-August. Private Client Service Summer Analyst Program The Private Client Service Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship designed to expose students to the service arm of our Private Client business such as: Tax analysis Trust Reviews Asset acceptance and investment objectives/mandates Discretionary memos and trust investment committee memos The program typically starts mid-June and runs through mid-August. Operations Analyst Internship (Part-Time) Program The Operations Analyst internship program is a 10-week part-time internship designed to expose students to all aspects of our business operations such as: Account onboarding & funding Cash movement Asset valuation Trading operations Client Reporting Business Intelligence The program typically takes place during the spring semester.
