London, 12 November 2025 - Brown Advisory is delighted to announce that it has received regulatory approval from the FCA for Marylebone Partners to join its team. The expected date for the change of control is 21 November 2025.

Marylebone Partners’ expertise and thoughtful approach aligns with Brown Advisory’s investment thinking and values.”
The combination of Brown Advisory and Marylebone Partners adds strength to the investment offering for private clients, charities, family offices and endowments. It also lays the foundation for a leading endowment-style approach tailored to clients based outside of the United States.
Marylebone Partners will retain autonomy and decision-making for its existing clients, including Majedie Investments PLC, who will immediately benefit from the breadth of expertise of Brown Advisory’s investment team as well as its substantial operational infrastructure, including robust client service, reporting and strategic advice.

In today’s compelling market environment, we believe we’re well-positioned to deliver inflation-beating absolute returns through bespoke solutions.”
Together, the firm will offer portfolios shaped by Marylebone’s core strategy pillars: Active Equities, Absolute Return and Special Investments. These pillars may also serve as a foundation for future investment solutions designed to meet evolving client needs.
Both groups believe the market regime presents a compelling opportunity for the best active managers to capitalise on stock dispersion and attractive entry points for differentiated opportunities. By combining their strengths, Brown Advisory and Marylebone Partners aim to deliver inflation-beating results for clients over the long term.
Marylebone Partners’ principals have converted their ownership interests into equity in Brown Advisory and all 11 colleagues have formally joined the firm.
