Elsa is a Sustainable & Impact Investing Specialist at Brown Advisory and brings over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. Elsa advises private clients, endowments and foundations on mission-and values-aligned investing, while helping advance Brown Advisory’s impact and sustainable investing strategy through client engagement, education and thought leadership. Her advisory work spans themes including biodiversity, education, health and wellness, financial resilience and energy innovation. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Elsa was part of Brookfield Asset Management’s Sustainability Management team, helping institutionalize sustainable investing across the firm’s investment, reporting and communications functions. She previously held investor relations and client service roles at Global Infrastructure Partners and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Elsa began her career at a New York City nonprofit supporting postdoctoral research opportunities for Italian scientists and free breast cancer screenings for underserved women, laying the foundation for the mission-driven perspective she now brings to values-aligned investing. Elsa graduated with honors from the College of the Holy Cross and is fluent in Italian. She is based in Boston.
