Charlottesville, May 7, 2026 - Brown Advisory today announced that Drew Courtney has been appointed Head of its Virginia offices, reflecting the continued evolution of leadership across the region.
Courtney, who is based in Charlottesville, is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Brown Advisory, responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of individuals, families, endowments and foundations. He joined the firm in 2014 after working in the Global Wealth and Investment Management division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and brings deep experience working closely with a wide range of clients. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia, where he was a three-time All-American in varsity tennis, and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
